Jide Olanrewaju

Jide Olanrewaju is a Partner within the $14 Bn impact investing platform of TPG where he focuses on investments in Africa. He has been investing in the region since 2009. Jide has invested across Healthcare, FMCG, Agri-business, Conservation and Financial Services. He has worked across the full investment lifecycle including transaction origination, business building, day to day operations and exit realisation. He sits on various TPG portfolio company boards. Prior to his investing career, Jide was at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Shell. Jide holds an M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, (specialization in Nuclear Reactor Technology). He is Vice Chairman of the Royal African Society. He maintains an avid interest in African history including directing a film documentary on the history of Nigeria. Mr Olanrewaju was born and raised in Nigeria and is dual national of Nigeria and the UK.
